Right back at the beginning…
November 2009 before the script was even completed, we were in Christchurch for Show Week approaching potential sponsors. ‘Campbell Live’ did this story on us:

I saw the film yesterday and loved it – one of the funniest films Ive seen in years. However my 2 friends were amazed by my reaction and insisted it was not a tongue in cheek pastiche of the Western genre but just an embarrassingly bad, cliched film. I need some support of my take on the film please. Even the “violence” seemed funny to me ( though I had my hands over my eyes for most of it ). Congratulations on a brilliant piece of entertainment. By the way, I live in N Cant and I recognised a real life match up to every one of the films characters.
